We’re a family-owned Auckland business with decades of experience in metal manufacturing. We powder coat brass, aluminium, steel and stainless steel. We aim for a good finish, a quick turnaround and a competitive price on every job. If you’re working to a deadline, tell us when you need it back and we’ll work to it.

Whether it’s a big job or a single one-off that needs a careful hand, we’re happy to take it on.

We’ve got a big range of colours from local suppliers like Dulux Powders and Interpon Powder Coatings. For something out of the ordinary, we also order from Prismatic Powders in the USA, which has over 6,500 shades.

Our Services

Blasting, stripping, polishing and powder coating

We look after the whole job, from getting the old finish off to putting the new one on. Vapour blasting, shot blasting and powder coating are all done at our own shop in East Tamaki, so a part can be blasted and coated in the same place.

Specialisation

Powder coating for wheels, car and bike parts

We take on all sorts of work, but car and bike parts are what we enjoy most. We use vacuum systems and careful masking to get clean lines and sharp two-tone finishes. Every part gets a close look before it goes back to you.

We refurbish wheels, engine covers, motorbike frames and plenty more. Everything is stripped back to bare metal first. We never put powder over an existing finish, because clean bare metal is what makes the new one last.

Why powder coating is tougher than paint

Powder coating is a dry powder sprayed on with an electrostatic charge, which makes it cling to the metal. The part then goes in the oven to cure and comes out with a hard, even finish that looks good.

It stands up to chips, scratches and everyday wear and tear better than wet paint does. Done properly, over clean bare metal, it’s hard-wearing and resists corrosion too.
